There are many reasons why dogs are called the best pet. Firstly, a pet is a domestic animal that is treated with affection and care, tamed to offer pleasure and companionship to the owner. Dogs act as best animal one will ever have, from liking your feet’s when you feel cold, to licking the face of the proprietor in the morning. From the world statistics, dogs are rated the most tamed animal, and they have been acquired a position in man’s heart as man’s best friend. This essay will be focusing on reasons as to why dogs are the best pet. Trainable, companionship, loyalty and health dogs have towards their owner will be the central thesis of this essay.
Training pets can be tedious; some pets take to training better than others. Dogs are the most easily trained pets in the world. As compared to other pets, dogs do not get easily frustrated in practice, thus making training easier. Most of the dogs under training are smart, and they quickly pick up a good habit from their trainee. Moreover, a breed of dogs known as Border Collies, unlike other pets, they are smart and they don’t get tired of doing one thing over and over as another pet like cats who gets tired of repeating the same training over and over again. However, there is a controversy between trainees of the pet who are arguing that dogs are not hard to train, but according to my experience with dogs, they are easily trainable as compared to other pets.
For many years, dogs have earned the right of being man’s best companion and loyal too. For centuries, dogs have worked side by side with man as compared to other pets. Studies have proved that dogs, not only offering affections they have shown love to their owner. Most of the pet owners say that the loyalty from dogs comes from the shelter and food we provide to them. Nevertheless, if you see a dog reacting with their canine and human friends when they are back from a vacation, or they have been away for some time, you will understand it’s not only food but is their characteristic. As compared to other pets, dogs are a good symbol of loyalty as they have depicted to their animal and their human friends. Studies have proven that does not have the sense of betrayal. They can be left alone for some time and still show the same loyalty and love to their owners.
The majority of dog owners have health benefits from taming a dog as a pet. There are many social, emotional, and physical benefits given to man from the dogs. Studies have proven that dog’s owner do not easily suffer from heart attacks. Furthermore, the company of dogs reduces blood pressure to the owner since they reduce stress from the company they offer to their owners. Taming dogs as a pet have emotional benefits. If one is emotionally affected, chances are he will turn to the dogs for company. The owners of pets tend to feel safer and less anxious when the dog is around them. Moreover, dogs as a pet promote interaction between their owners and themselves by depicting social benefits a dog can offer.
From the advantages dogs have to human life, they cannot be compared with other pets. Loyalty, companionship, and health matters are the best values dogs portrays to their owner. Other pets give the trainer a hard job in training them. However, it has been proven that dogs are the most easily trained pets. For one to acquire social, emotional, and physical benefits from domestic animals, a dog is the best pet to tame.
