Every person works to fulfill the objectives or goals of his or her occupation. Some of these goals include increasing the number of customers, gaining competitive advantage, increasing profits, fulfilling personal needs, and of course getting superb remuneration. There are several forces that drive hard work including money.
In my view, I believe that money is one of the driving force for money. According to Henry Mintzberg, motivation is either intrinsic (internal) or extrinsic (external) and as such money or good pay is one of the stimuli for increases workers performance in their respective working stations. Primarily, money is one of the tangible rewards that managers use to satisfy the extrinsic needs of their workers. Therefore, money boosts workers morale and consequently enhances their job satisfaction ultimately leading to improved productivity or performance.
In conclusion, I say that money is one of the driving forces for hard work. Managers use good salaries and bonuses to boost the morale of their employees and this in turn increases their performance.Companies that remunerate their workers well are able to achieve higher results from employees as they achieve their individual goals.
