Efforts to enhance effective globalized leadership and governance have been intensified in the 21st century. Evidence to support this claim include the general world peace that is fundamentally characteristic of the current century. Despite presence of civilian unrest and war in few countries around the world such as Syria, the world has remained much more at peace compared to the 20th century’ besides, more efforts are pursued internationally to bring to an end the war in these few parts of the world.

Commerce is another aspect that has since benefited through globalization. This has essentially been catapulted by the advancement in technology and innovation that has also marked the 21st century. Sea, air and rail transport has enhanced world connectivity in such a large extent that, trade between regions all over the world has basically become much more easier and affordable.
